    Professor of Ophthalmology

    Dr. Ahmad Shojaie is a highly accomplished and experienced Professor of Ophthalmology, renowned for his expertise in the field of eye surgery and patient care.

    Since 2002, Dr. Shojaie has been a dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon at Fayazbakhsh Hospital, affiliated with the Iranian Social Security Organization (ISSO), in Tehran, Iran. Additionally, he has been providing his valuable services as an Eye Surgeon at Sadr Hospital since 2003 and as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon at Markazi Eye Clinic since 2004. His passion for his profession has extended beyond Iran, as he has been a Visiting Ophthalmologist and Phaco-Refractive Surgeon at New Vision Eye Clinic in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, since 2008.

    Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Shojaie has held significant leadership positions in various prestigious medical institutions. He has served as the Head of the Ophthalmology Department at both Hedayat Hospital and Fayazbakhsh Hospital (ISSO) in Tehran, Iran. Moreover, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Salamat Gharb Day Clinic, a private eye clinic in Tehran, Iran, showcasing his expertise in the private healthcare sector.

    Dr. Shojaie's dedication to the advancement of Ophthalmology is evident in his role as a Teacher at the Islamic Private (Azad) University of Medical Sciences, Najafabad Unit, Isfahan, Iran, from 1996 to 2002. He also served as the Managing Director of the Department of Ophthalmology and Eye Clinic at Sina Hospital in Isfahan, Iran, from 2000 to 2002.

    With an impressive array of surgical accomplishments, Dr. Shojaie has performed over 30,000 phaco, LASIK, and other ophthalmic surgeries in Iran and Iraq since 1996. His expertise is widely recognized, as he performs 500 to 600 cataract surgeries annually at Fayazbakhsh Hospital in Tehran. Additionally, he conducts 900 to 1000 cataract surgeries and ptreygium surgeries each year at Beh Afarin Hospital in Tehran and another 500 to 600 cataract, LASIK, LASEK, and blepharoplasty surgeries at Central Ophthalmology Clinic (Cheshm Khaneh). At Salamat Gharb Clinic, Dr. Shojaie performs 200 to 300 cataract surgeries annually, along with pterygium, strabismus, and blepharoplasty procedures.

    His dedication to improving eye care extends to international settings, as he has conducted more than 5000 eye surgeries at New Eye Vision Clinic in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, since 2006.

    Dr. Shojaie's pursuit of excellence in Ophthalmology is reflected in his educational achievements. He completed his General Practitioner degree at Isfahan University in 1989, followed by his Specialty Board in Ophthalmology from Isfahan University in 1996. To further enhance his skills, he obtained a Certificate of Refractive Surgery (LASIK PRK) from Basir Eye Clinic in Tehran in 1998.

    With an impressive 26 years of experience in Ophthalmology, Dr. Ahmad Shojaie continues to make a significant impact on the field through his expertise, surgical skills, and commitment to patient care.
