    Dr. Sahraian Mohammad Ali

    Neurologist

    Dr. Mohammad Ali Sahraian is an esteemed Neurologist with an impressive array of achievements and contributions to the field of Neurology. He has been an active member of various prestigious medical organizations, including the Iranian Neurological Association and the Iranian Medical Organization, since 2001 and 1997, respectively.

    In his professional journey, Dr. Sahraian has held numerous significant positions, showcasing his leadership and expertise in the medical community. From 2017 to 2021, he served as the Deputy of Research at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and was also the Chairman of the Research Deputy Ethical Committee during the same period. Additionally, he has been a valuable member of the National Ethics Committee under the Ministry of Health since 2017.

    Dr. Sahraian's passion for research and commitment to improving neurological care is evident in his role as the Head of the Neuroscience Committee at the National Institute for Medical Research Development (NIMAD) since 2014. He has been a proactive member of the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) community, leading as the Head of the MS Ward at Sina University Hospital and the Director of the National MS Committee at the Ministry of Health.

    Throughout his career, Dr. Sahraian has contributed extensively to the advancement of Neurology through his involvement in research and academic activities. He served as the Section Editor of the Iranian Journal of Neurology and has been the Head of the MS Research Center at the Neuroscience Institute since 2013.

    His impressive accomplishments include being the Program Director for various national and international congresses related to Neurology and MS, such as the 5th National MS Congress in 2008 and the 10th International Congress on Neurology & Electrophysiology in 2003.

    Dr. Sahraian's educational journey is marked by excellence, as he achieved the 1st Rank in the National Neurology Board Exam in 2002. He completed his Specialty in Neurology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2001 and has since held positions as Associate Professor (2008-2016) and now as a Professor (2016-present) at the same institution.

    His contributions to literature include editing the book "MRI Atlas of MS Lesions," earning him the 1st Prize. He has also been a member of the editorial board of the "Iranian Journal of Neurology" since 2003.

    With 24 years of extensive medical experience, Dr. Mohammad Ali Sahraian continues to make significant strides in Neurology, leaving a lasting impact on patient care and medical research.
