Dr. Azam Mohammadi is an esteemed Cardiologist and Echocardiologist with a wide range of professional affiliations, reflecting her dedication to the field. She is a member of prestigious organizations such as the American Society of Echocardiography, Canadian Society of Echocardiography, Canadian Cardiovascular Society, European Society of Cardiology, European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, Iranian Society of Echocardiography, Medical Council of Iran, Iranian Heart Association, and Iranian Society of Atherosclerosis.

Specializing in Cardiology and Echocardiography, Dr. Mohammadi's extensive experience is highlighted by her professional roles at various prominent healthcare institutions. She currently operates her private cardiology and advanced echocardiography lab in Tehran since 2017. Additionally, she serves as the Head of Echo in the Non-invasive cardiac Laboratory at Nikan Hospital since 2011, where she performs Intraoperative TEE (IOTEE) during procedures such as MV repair, AV repair, LV reconstruction, and cardiac masses. She is also adept at TEE in Cath Lab for procedures like ASD or PFO closure, PTMC, TAVI, LA appendage closure, and select electrophysiologic procedures such as CARTO Tissue Doppler Imaging. Prior to this, she worked as a Cardiologist and Echocardiologist at Laleh Hospital, Tehran, from 2012 to 2015, and at Parsian Hospital, Tehran, from 2011 to 2013.

Dr. Mohammadi's illustrious career has involved multiple international experiences. She conducted research projects as a Fellow of Echocardiography at UBC, Vancouver, in the Cardiology department from 2009 to 2011. She also completed her Fellowship in Echocardiography at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC, Vancouver, in 2008 and at Day General Hospital, Tehran, in 2005. Moreover, she holds a Certification of Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography, USA, obtained in 2010, and is certified as a Diplomate in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, USA, since 2009.

Dr. Mohammadi's educational journey includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, in 1998, a degree in Internal Medicine from Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, in 1995, and a General Practitioner degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan, in 1993.
