    Dr. Lashkari Reza

    Invasive Cardiologist

    Reza Lashkari is an Invasive Cardiologist with a strong background and expertise in the cardiovascular field. He is an esteemed member of the Iranian Cardiovascular Intervention Association and currently serves as a cardiologist and interventional cardiologist at several prominent hospitals, including Nikan, Atieh, Moheb Mehr, Chamran, and Moheb Yas hospitals since 2017.

    Dr. Lashkari has an impressive academic record, with notable achievements in national exams and board certifications. He achieved the top rank in the national residency exam in 2009, secured the 4th rank in the national cardiovascular board in 2014, and attained the first rank in the Interventional Cardiovascular internship exam at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2015.

    His primary interests lie in the field of angiography and angioplasty of the heart, aorta, arteries of the limbs, kidneys, and veins of the limbs. Additionally, he is highly interested in working with structural and valvular heart diseases. Dr. Lashkari brings vast experience to his role, having performed 15,000 cardiovascular angiographies and 4,000 cardiovascular angioplasties, including complex procedures such as bifurcation lesion and left main angioplasty. He also has experience in approximately 300 emergency angioplasties (primary PCI) and about 50 cases of lower extremity angioplasty in diabetic patients with severe ischemia. Furthermore, he has expertise in 20 ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) device closures and PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) device closures, 20 cases of Catheter Directed Thrombolytic Therapy (CDT) in patients with DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis), 50 cases of right heart catheterization, and 2 cases of EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) as the first operator and approximately 10 cases as the second operator. He has also successfully performed CTO (Chronic Total Occlusion) angioplasty in about 50 patients, IVC (Inferior Vena Cava) filter implantation in approximately 30 high-risk patients with pulmonary embolism, angioplasty of lower extremity veins in about 10 patients, and the treatment of lower extremity varicose veins in moderate to severe grades through injection of sclerosing agents and ELVA (Endovenous Laser Ablation).

    Dr. Lashkari's educational journey includes graduating as a General Practitioner from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2008. He pursued a Cardiology Specialization at Tehran Heart Center affiliated with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2014 and later completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Course at the same institution in 2017.

    With 13 years of medical experience, Dr. Lashkari has proven to be a skilled and dedicated professional in the field of cardiology, making significant contributions to cardiovascular care and intervention.
