Urogynecological Surgeon

Tahereh Forooghifar is an Obstetric and Gynecological Surgeon and Urogynecologist with 23 years of medical experience. She achieved the top rank in the gynecological pelvic floor surgery fellowship exam and is a member of the Pelvic Floor Surgery Association in Iran. Additionally, she is affiliated with the Iranian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association at Tehran University of Medical Science. Dr. Forooghifar is actively involved in teaching Iranian gynecologists in workshop formats and has been a speaker at International Women's Congresses. Her expertise includes various female pelvic organ prolapse repairs, vaginal or abdominal hysterectomies, urinary incontinence surgeries, labiaplasty, and myomectomy. She has undergone specialized training in sonography of female pelvic and obstetric, cosmetic genital surgeries, female urology, and colorectal disease at Tehran University of Medical Science. Dr. Forooghifar has also performed numerous cosmetic surgeries, focusing on vaginal rejuvenation and labia majoraplasty. She completed her fellowship in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Floor Surgeries at Tehran University of Medical Science in 2018, her specialty in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2009, and her General Practitioner degree in 1999 from Azad University of Medical Science - Tonekabon, Mazandaran & Guilan University of Medical Science.
